
Paula Gallimore
PTA
Paula is a Physical Therapist’s Assistant born in Bluefield, West Virginia. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1988 and holds a Bachelors Degree from West Virginia University in 1992 and her PTA certification from the College of West Virginia in 1997. Her area of interest is in pediatrics, particularly school based therapy. She is Married and has one daughter, a student at Daniel Boone High School.

Annette Gibson
PTA
Annette is a Physical Therapist’s Assistant born in Anchorage, AK. She is a 1982 graduate of Sullivan east High School and graduated from ETSU in 1986. She received her PTA training at Walters State Community College in 1996. She has been a member of our staff since November 1997. Her areas of interest include orthopedic PT and school based pediatrics.

Lindsay Williams
OT
Lindsay is an Occupational Therapist from Elizabethton TN. And graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2005. Her undergraduate degree is from Appalachian State University in 2009. She received an Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College in December of 2013. She is currently working towards a Doctorate at Eastern Kentucky University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2019. Her area of specialization is in outpatient OT with emphasis on upper extremity OT.

Savannah Taylor
OT
Savannah is a native of Elizabethton, TN and graduated from Elizabethton High School in 2009. She attended Santa Fe Community College and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in 2010. She attained a Bachelor’s of Science degree from ETSU in 2012. Savannah attended Milligan College wher she earned a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015. Her areas of interest include pediatric OT on an outpatient and school basis.

Glenn Elliott
PTA
Glenn is a Physical Therapist’s Assistant who is from Searcy, AR. He graduated from Science Hill High School in 2004 and from ETSU in 2009. He attended Walters State Community College and graduated with a PTA degree in 2017. Prior to attending Walters State, Glen worked as a Physical Therapy technician for Physical Therapy Services.

Dr. Justin Smith
PT, DPT, SCS, RN
Justin is a native of Elizabethton, TN and graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1996. He attended ETSU and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Following a stint as a trauma nurse at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital, Justin was accepted into the Physical Therapy Program at Belmont University in Nashville. He graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont in 2006. His areas of interest are orthopedics and sports. He is board certified in Sports Physical Therapy and in Dry Needling. He serves as a clinical instructor for a number of Physical Therapy educational programs across the country as well as Vice-President and Clinical Director for PTS.

Dr. Dustin Barrett
PT, DPT
Dustin is a native of Tazwell, Va and graduated from Tazwell High School in 1999. He attended Milligan College on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Milligan in 2003. He was accepted into the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at ETSU and graduated in 2007. Dustin’s areas of interest in clude orthopedic conditions, particularly back pain. He holds additional certification in Mulligan Technique for the treatment of spinal dysfunction. Dustin in a member of the Milligan College and Tazwell High School Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on the baseball field.

Dr. Mike Bourassa
PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Mike is a graduate of Oroville (CA) High School in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in 2010. Mike has completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency and is Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2014. He is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist. He is a full-time instructor in the ETSU Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Dr. Erin Kiser
PT, DPT
Erin is a native of Elizabethton, TN, graduating from Elizabethton High School with an outstanding career in basketball and softball graduating in 2011. She attended ETSU and graduated in 2014. She was accepted into the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at ETSU and graduated in 2017. Her areas of interest are orthopedic, sports, and geriatric physical therapy.

Dr. Craig Wassinger
PhD, DPT
Craig is a native of Buffalo, NY, graduating from Starpoint High School in 1997. He received his Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College in 2001. He attended the University of Pittsburg where he received a Master’s Degree in PT in 2003 and his PhD in 2007. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in New Zealand in 2008. Craig holds the designation of Therapeutic Pain Specialist- one of the few in the U.S. He is a full time professor in the School of Physical Therapy at ETSU.

Dr. Allie Bourassa
PT, DPT
Allie is a full time faculty member in the PT school at ETSU. She is a native of Greer SC and graduated from Riverside High School in Greer in 2003. She attended Wingate University and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy, being one of the few NCS in Tennessee. Her interest is in vestibular (dizziness) evaluation and treatment.

Dr. Danny D. Smith
PT, DHSc, OCS, SCS, ATC
Danny is a native of Elizabethton, TN and graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1968. He is the Founder, President, and CEO of Physical Therapy Services. He is an adjunct faculty member at ETSU school of Physical Therapy as well as a member of the faculty at Belmont University in Nashville. Dr. Smith has taught extensively in both the US and abroad. He has authored numerous articles primarily in the area of sports PT. He is board certified in both Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He has received the Turner A. Blackburn Lifetime Achievement Award and the Ron Peyton Award from the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy.
